Observed on a baby changing station in the Detroit YMCA. Apparently, there is a problem with babies working out. Don\'t let babies work out.

Here I go again

First day of school tomorrow. Game on.

I’m crazy sleep deprived after a week of orientation and a weekend of Beckwith insanity. The only thing standing between me and a night of fitful night-before-the-first-day-of-school sleep is a delayed flight. So, here I am in the Cincinnati airport finding a moment of repose in heaven, which is to say a smoker’s lounge. Such places tend to be less noisy than the general admission area and there are no kids. Unless I learn differently next semester, a nic-fit isn’t a valid defense to breaking the neck of a screaming baby.

I’m guessing that reading my assignments while sleep deprived and in an airport is an inauspicious way to begin my legal career, but such are the sacrifices required when family calls. And also when family puts us up in a beach house on the Outer Banks.
